Amanda Striegl, MD
Biography Dr. Amanda Striegl joined the BAPP practice in July 2010. She was born and raised in the Midwest, then ventured west for college and medical school at the University of Colorado. Dr. Striegl completed both her general pediatrics residency and pediatric pulmonology fellowship at the University of Washington Seattle Children's Hospital. While she enjoys caring for children with respiratory problems of all varieties, she has a special interest in the care of infants with chronic lung disease of prematurity and children with neuromuscular disease. Dr. Striegl believes strongly in a team based approach to medical care and looks forward to the challenges and rewards of partnering with children and families in the Bay Area. Dr. Striegl is working part-time with the BAPP group, primarily in Oakland; however, she lives with her husband and 2 ½ year old son in San Francisco. When not at work, she enjoys exploring new locales with her family on both sides of the Bay, shopping at farmers markets, cooking, and camping. |
