Danny Hsia, MD

Biography

Danny Hsia initially came to the Bay Area to attend the University of California at Berkeley in 1992 from his hometown in New York. Danny returned to New York and received his medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Hsia completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, New York. In order to pursue a career in pulmonology, he completed his fellowship training at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Seattle, Washington. After completing his fellowship training, Dr. Hsia moved down to the Bay Area and joined the Bay Area Pediatric Pulmonary Medical Corporation. Dr Hsia’s research interests are in asthma and non-invasive markers of airway inflammation.

Dr. Hsia is thrilled to be returning to the Bay Area with his wife and two sons. On his time off, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and gardening.
