Haramandeep Singh, MD, D.ABPN
Biography Dr. Singh was born in Punjab, India and raised in Chicago, Illinois. His family migrated to the United States when he was two years of age. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois in 1990 and went on to receive his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 1994. He completed his psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and after practicing in the community for several years, he went on to pursue his main clinical interest in sleep medicine by completing a fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern in 2007. He was chief fellow and authored a research paper on a novel treatment for insomnia during this time. Dr. Singh is a practicing Board Certified Sleep Medicine Specialist with expertise in evaluation and treatment of pediatric sleep disorders, including sleep disordered breathing, narcolepsy, insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and movement disorders. He enjoys helping children and families working out difficult to treat sleep problems. He has a strong clinical interest in narcolepsy. In his time off, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife and two boys. He also enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and travel. |
