About Our Practice
Welcome BAPP provides a broad range of diagnostic, treatment, research, and education services related to breathing or respiratory health problems in children from birth to age 21.

Practice History
The practice began in 1989 when Dr. Hardy was recruited to direct the pediatric pulmonary program at California Pacific Medical Center. The group incorporated in 1999. In 1999 Dr. Hardy became director of the pulmonary program at Children's Hospital Oakland and Research Center. We are certified for cystic fibrosis care both nationally through the CF Foundation and at the state level through California Children's Services (CSS). We offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services, including access to pediatric specialists to help with the medical problems that may develop in CF patients. We work closely with the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at San Francisco's California Pacific Medical Center and lung transplant centers in the Bay Area Children's Hospital & Research Center at Oakland is a site for pulmonary research. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Our main office is located in Oakland, California, in the Childrens Hospital Oakland complex. BAPP physicians regularly work at Children's Hospital Oakland and at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Outreach Clinics Cover Most of Northern California BAPP provides services at a number of Outreach Clinics in Northern California and Northern Nevada. |
